ITINERARY

 

Day 01 Bangalore
Arrival at Bangalore International Airport. And transfer to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02 Bangalore
Orientation tour of the city, westernized metropolis and major center of high-tech IT which earned him the nickname Silicon Valley Indian. Bangalore, capital of Karnataka state, was built around a fort built in the 16th century and became one of the seats of the British administration in the 19th century. The city has two beautiful gardens, one on Lal Bagh Botanical Garden and the other Cubbon Park, the green heart of Bangalore. Civil architecture is more elegant with many classical buildings. Day 03 Bangalore - Mysore
Morning drive to the royal city of Mysore, the city of "Sandalwood". Mysore was once one of the most prosperous princely states. The charm of this city lies in its green and especially its impressive palace. Destroyed by fire in 1898, it was rebuilt in Indo-Muslim-inspired style in 1911. In the October festival, it is illuminated with 90,000 lights. It is a beautiful sight. Drive to Chamundi hill to see Chamundeshwari temple erected there 2000 years and dedicated to the goddess of the royal family. Spectacular view of Mysore. On return, stop to admire the monolithic statue of the Nandi bull with impressive dimensions: five feet high and eight wide. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04 Mysore - Somnathpur - Mysore
Morning drive through the countryside to join Somnathpur. Visit the Keshava temple dating from the 12th and 13th century. The last of the three masterpieces of Hoysala style Belur and Halebid after that reach the summit of Indian art, the scuptures are remarkable. This is a real gem. Dedicated to Vishnu, it rises inside an enclosure in the shape of stars with decoration work deserves special attention. Back to Mysore and visit St. Philomena Church in Gothic style. This is one of the largest churches in India. Walk in the city of classy buildings, wide avenues and many gardens. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05 Mysore - Hassan
Departure for Hassan founded in the 11th century including the remarkable architecture of its temples earned him the title of Capital of religious architecture of Karnataka. En route, visit Shravanbelagola an important Jain pilgrimage center and mounted to the sanctuary that houses the colossal statue of Lord Bahubali, 17m high and carved from a single block of stone. Aged over 1000 years, it is considered as the largest monolith statue in the world. Continue to Hassan. Overnight at hotel. 
Day 06 Hassan - Belur - Halebid - Hassan
Belur Halebid and excursion to two major sites in the Hindu art that deserve our attention. Belonging to the Hoysala dynasty, Belur was the first site built on a star-shaped plan. Numerous reliefs recount battle scenes of the era and the profusion of sculptures represent deities, among the senior ranks and animals. Then, drive to Halebid, which was the capital of this dynasty and visit the temple of Hoysaleshwara Shiva and Parvati. A jewel with its magnificent sculptures. Back to Hassan. Overnight at hotel.
Day 07 Hassan - Hospet
Long road through the Deccan to reach Hospet. Crossing many villages and plantations that offer a beautiful dive in the rural and agricultural life of the region and also a nice way to see the local people in their daily activities. Overnight at hotel. 
Day 08 Hospet - Hampi - Hospet
Departure for the lost kingdom of Hampi, the ruins arise mountains. Visit the fabulous archaeological site which was the capital of one of the greatest empires of Vijayanagar, between the 14th and 16th centuries. Hampi, colossally rich, derived its wealth of the spice trade and cotton and his kingdom extended to Kerala and Orissa. It had temples, palaces and works of art scattered throughout the city. The extraordinary strength of this empire was due to his wealth and more qu'avisée policy of its rulers. Today, Hampi is considered a second Angkor. Its ruins stretch over 30 hectares and its remains are sufficiently instructive to describe the glorious past of this city. Back to Hospet. Overnight at hotel.
Day 09 Hospet - Badami
Drive to Badami, a small bustling town known for its three outstanding sites: Badami, Aihole and Pattadakal. In 550, the Chalukya kings established their capital at Badami and dug the rock to honor their gods. This gave birth to cave temples along the cliffs accessible by wide stairs. Aihole is a kind of museum that houses many Hindu and Jain temples are among the oldest in the country. Pattadakal, the cradle of Hindu architecture, this extraordinary group of temples sculptures among the best in India. Dravidian valuable testimony. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10 Badami - Goa
Road to Goa, a former Portuguese trading post that invites relaxation with its beautiful white sand beaches. The atmosphere is quite different, the atmosphere changes and you can stroll through the narrow streets with Mediterranean architecture. Overnight at hotel.
Day 11 Goa

Transfer to Goa airport for the return flight.
