City Palace was built by Maharana Udai Singh II (Founder King of Udaipur hailing from Sisodiya Rajput Clan of Mewar) in 1553; with the contribution of all successive kings, this wonder got its present day glory. City Palace in Udaipur is a result of perfect blend of Rajasthani, Mughal & European architecture; it is considered as the largest & magnificent monument of its kind in Rajasthan. Jaisamand Lake: Jaisamand Lake is also known as Dhebar Lake; it is India’s second largest artificial lake. It is located at a distance of 45 km from Udaipur city center. It was created by Rana Jai Singh of Udaipur in 17thcentury along this lake there is a dam built using marble stone which is a UNESCO world heritage site. This dam has a palace which used to act as the winter capital of the rulers of Mewar.

Bagore Ki Haveli: Bagore ki Haveli is a large museum standing on Gangaur Ghat on the banks of beautiful Lake Pichola in Udaipur city of Rajasthan. It was built by Amir Chand Badwa, the then prime minister of Mewar estate who has served 3 kings during his regime in the 18th century. Post independence of India this magnificent building served as guest house of Indian government. Presently it is under cultural department of Indian government. This monument with more than 100 rooms symbolizes the great craftsmanship of architects of ancient times in Mewar. Jag Mandir: Jag Mandir is a palace built on a natural island in Lake Pichola; the foundation of this palace was laid by Maharana Amar Singh in 1553.
